As Professor of History you will: 

  • undertake high-quality research and teaching  in a dynamic intellectual environment
  • engage with the wider community on key issues relevant to the discipline
  • provide leadership in research and teaching and  learning to enhance the profile of History at ACU.

 

The successful applicant will have: 

  • a PhD in Modern History
  • an outstanding track record of research in Modern History with an international reputation achieved through high-quality publications and successful grant applications
  • a record of innovation and excellence in learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level
  • demonstrated capacity to manage and lead with excellence and to contribute appropriately to strategic planning to further the priorities of the School, Faculty and University.

Total remuneration valued to $208,070 pa, including salary component $176,678pa (Academic Level E), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
