Tasks The


duties cover research and education.

 

Research involves own research and development of the research environment. The proprietor is expected to actively seek external funding for research initiation.

 

Teaching in Spanish covers all levels, including supervision at the doctoral level, mainly in the field of literature and culture. Teaching includes course responsibility, course management and supervision. The applicant is expected to carry out educational development work, participate in the institution's internal work as well as in the faculty's common activities.

 

Administrative tasks may be included in the work. Regular attendance at the workplace is required for active participation in the work of the institution.

 

Qualification


Requirements Qualifying to be employed as a university lecturer is the one who has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence, demonstrated educational skills and has the personal qualities required to fulfill the job well.

 

A prerequisite for pedagogical proficiency is to be considered is the review, for the activities relevant, college education, comprising at least ten weeks, or equivalent knowledge. If there are special reasons, the college education can be completed during the first two years of employment.

 

As a general eligibility requirement, it is important to have the ability to cooperate as well as the ability and suitability in general that are required to fulfill the duties properly. 

 

Documented ability to teach in Spanish and Swedish is a requirement for the employment.

 

Assessment criteria


When selecting among qualified applicants, weight will be attached to scientific and educational skills as much as possible.

 

In assessing scientific proficiency, scientific quality is primarily taken into account. The scope of research, especially in terms of depth and breadth, should be given particular importance. Experience in research initiation and project collaboration is more credible. Assignment of external funds, scientific management assignments and anchoring within the international research community is also important.

 

In assessing the pedagogical literacy, pedagogical quality is primarily taken into account. Even scope, both width and depth, should be taken into account. Furthermore, the ability to plan, initiate, lead and develop education and teaching, as well as the ability to research the teaching will be important.

 

Great emphasis will be placed on experience primarily in the field of literature and, secondly, cultural-oriented subjects in the subject of Spanish. The pedagogical skills must be well documented so that both scope and quality can be assessed.

 

Experience of cooperation with the surrounding community will be given importance. Convicted good cooperation is meritorious.

 

The university will receive this recruitment primarily to take into account who, after a qualitative overall assessment of competency and proficiency, has the best prerequisites to conduct and develop current work tasks as an actively present employee at the institution and contribute to a positive development of the business.

 

Assessment Basis, Other Skills


Administrative Skills are important for the employment and will be weighted.

 

Administrative skills are demonstrated by the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work effectively and for the purpose, as well as ability to specify and maintain timeframes. Administrative skills include overall business planning and ability to manage resources in a way that reflects the business priorities as well as ability to work structured and based on awareness of goals and quality.

 

Personal circumstances (eg parental leave) that may be counted in the assessment of the creditor the applicant will be given in connection with the statement of qualifications and experience.
