 10-month Limited Term appointment in Creative Writing


 

The Department of English and the Creative Writing Program at Dalhousie University invite applications for a 10-month Limited Term appointment in Creative Writing, with a specialization in fiction and secondary expertise in any area of literary or cultural studies. The position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and will be tenable for a ten-month term (1 August 2019 to 31 May 2020). The successful candidate will teach courses in both the Creative Writing and English programs. Experience teaching at the university level in both English and Creative Writing, as well as graduate degrees in English and/or Creative Writing, are required; preference will be given to candidates who hold a PhD by the date of the appointment. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
