Applicant qualifications: Candidates who meet all of the following conditions will be given preference. A qualified candidate should:

(1) be mainly educated in Germany and speak German as native speaker.

(2) possess a MD. by the starting date, or demonstrate a comparable research achievement record. 

(3) have experiences to teach German for foreigners in educational institutions.

(4) have the necessary Japanese or English fluency to communicate. 

(5) enthusiastically perform university duties and international exchange works.

(6) be of sound mind and body.

Review of application materials and an interview. 
A 3-minute video explaining your future plans and aspirations for teaching German would be required after the first selection.

(1) Curriculum Vitae.

(2) Complete list of research achievements.

(3) Research and educational history (an outline up to the present day is acceptable).

(4) Three major academic publications/research papers. Please include a one page (A4) summary for each (If you are a student, unpublished papers can be also accepted). 

(5) Your future plans and aspirations for teaching German at Tohoku Gakuin University. (one page A4, in German)
