Associate Lecturer in Pre-Sessional English

The University of Northampton is seeking to appoint a number of experienced EAP teachers to contribute to the delivery of its summer 2016 Pre-Sessional English programme. Applicants must have a first degree and a CELTA (or equivalent). A DELTA (or equivalent), TEAP qualification and/or a Master’s degree in a cognate subject (e.g. TESOL, Applied Linguistics) is highly desirable.

The pre-sessional at the University of Northampton has been designed to reflect innovative practice in EAP teaching and assessment.

Teachers will be involved in all aspects of Pre-Sessional provision (including the planning and delivery of classes, student feedback and support) and will be expected to teach 20 hours per week.

We currently have vacancies for the following courses:

  • 25th July 2016 – 2nd Sept 2016 (6 weeks)
  • Note: staff induction (paid separately) begins on 20th July 2016
  • 27th June 2016 – 2nd Sept 2016 (10 weeks)

Dependent on student numbers there may be the opportunity for further work in the autumn term.
