Research Fellow in general linguistics


A position as doctoral fellow (SKO 1017) is available at the Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies (ILN), University of Oslo. The announcement is directed towards an especially talented candidate who will help ILNs research in general linguistics in the fields of morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, typology. We look favorably on projects involving the collection and analysis of their own data in the field.


The appointee will participate in the Faculty of Humanities' researcher. The scientific work will culminate in a doctoral dissertation to be defended at the Faculty in order to obtain the degree Ph.D. The successful candidate is expected to enter in ILNs academic community in general linguistics and contribute to its developement. The appointment is for a period of 3 years.




Masters with very good results in relevant field or equivalent education. Final grade will be obtained at time of application.
