The Université de Sherbrooke is seeking applications to fill a position as a professor in the Department of Education and Training Management of the Faculty of Education. The students served include people who have an educational management function and support in a school setting.

 

The Faculty of Education is renowned for the initial and in-service training of professional, teaching, managerial and research personnel in the school environment and other active training circles. It favors pedagogical and organizational innovation for the integration of knowledge in A partnership context. In a user-friendly environment, Learning and skills development and facilitates professional integration. The UdeS Faculty of Education offers three-cycle programs and non-credited training activities. His research activities shed light on topical social issues.

- Teaching in Educational Management Programs or Educational Support.
- Participation in research work in the fields of management of education or accompaniment in schools.
- Contribution to program development.
- Supervision of graduate students.
- Participation in university life.
- Service to the community.

 

requirements

 

  • Doctorate (Ph.D.) in education or be in the process of obtaining it.
  • Have at least five (5) years' professional experience in education management or academic accompaniment.
  • Knowledge of educational practice in Quebec.
  • Experience in adult education or training.
  • Have a very good knowledge of the French language.
  • Experience in the use of technology in training and research.
  • Skills for teamwork.

About the Workplace


The duty station is at the Campus de Longueuil. Courses can also be offered in different regions of Quebec or in tele-learning.

 

Working conditions are governed by the collective agreements in force.

 

Regular full-time position.
