Through the stated professorship, the Institute wishes to strengthen research in the field of learning in organizations led by a new professor in the field.


The research area currently comprises a group of approx. 10 lecturers and adjuncts to which PhD students and an emeritus associate professor combine different perspectives on organizational development (leadership, well-being, dialogue, ethics, creativity), but gather in looking at organizational development as a progressive learning and change process .


We are looking for a professor who has skills for both professional and organizational management of the group as well as the ability to take the lead in relation to cooperation with the environment and the generation of external research funds.


It is expected that the applicant has extensive theoretical knowledge of processes in organizational life and organizational change, including knowledge of learning processes, and that he / she has contributed to the development and further development of his field. In addition, it is expected that the applicant has experience in the generation and implementation of external projects and wishes to have the ability and much to experience in the management of other researchers.


The employee will be the leader of the research group and is part of the department's group of professors who jointly and in collaboration with the departmental management are responsible for the continued development of a highly-profited and progressive institute working in close interaction with the surrounding community.


The professor will have to teach at programs related to the department, which includes programs at both bachelor, master and master's level in organizational learning, learning processes, learning and change processes, creativity and learning, etc. There may also be teaching at the university's other programs where This is relevant. In addition, the guidance of PhD students will be part of the professor's assignments.


Therefore, emphasis is placed on good experiences with and desire for teaching and guidance of students of all levels.



A professorship is an indefinite position with a commitment to research, teaching and publishing / scientific dissemination.


It is assumed that applicants to the professorship can document a high level of original scientific production at international level and can document that they have contributed significantly to the development of the job description field. Emphasis is placed on the applicant being able to undertake research management or other management, pedagogical guidance and supervision and academic assessment.

Assessment of candidates for the position is done by an expert assessment committee. Applicants can subsequently be invited to a conversation and / or trial lecture.
