The Department of Arabic and Translation Studies at American University of Sharjah invites applications for adjunct instructors in teaching general education classes in the Arab heritage. A master’s degree (MA) in Arabic studies with a specialization in a genre of classical, medieval or modern Arabic literature, or an era of Arab history, is required.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate three or more years’ experience in teaching Arabic studies.


The language of instruction at AUS is English.
