Tasks

Lecturer teaches programming and design courses in the New Media Degree Program. Lecturer's tasks include the supervision and evaluation of master's theses and participation in the administrative tasks of the degree program and / or institution. Up to 20% of working time is available for personal artistic work or research.

 

The term is temporary until 28 February 2019. Begin by contract, as soon as possible. 

 

Prerequisites



applicant is required to have at least an upper university degree in a suitable field (new media, digital design, media art or equivalent) and teaching experience. Our programming courses mainly use Processing, Arduino and JavaScript, so experience requires at least one of the above. The applicant's scientific / artistic merits and pedagogical studies are also taken into account in the selection. Applicants are required to have good English language skills, as the degree programs are held in English.

 

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of the following areas: teaching, artistic and / or research merit, co-operation skills and activities in the professional, artistic or scientific community.

 

Pay and working time

 

The remuneration is based on the university pay system. The assignment is placed at the level 5 (OV5) of teaching and research staff. The 50% working time of the teaching staff is determined by a total working time of 812 hours a year. Start work as soon as possible. The location is for a fixed term and ends on 28 February 2019.
