DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES AND LANGUAGES



The Department of Humanities and Languages at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John, N.B. invites applications for an 8 month position in English at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing August 26, 2018, subject to final budgetary approval.



Candidates should have a PhD and undergraduate teaching experience. The successful candidate will teach introductory English courses, and upper level courses such as ENGL 3402 Modern British Novel, ENGL 3405 Studies in Modern British Literature, ENGL 3508 Canadian Literature before WWII, and ENGL 3509 Canadian Literature after WWII.



The teaching load is six courses (18 credit hours) over the Fall and Winter terms.

Applications are to include a cover letter, a current curriculum vitae, a statement reviewing research interests, evidence of teaching effectiveness (ie. a teaching dossier), and three academic letters of reference.
