The employment relationship will be completed on a temporary basis from 1 August 2018 until 31 July 2019

 

The lecturer in charge for the assignment works in Swedish, if necessary in English, as a teacher mainly in elementary school grades 7-9 and in high school. Teaching may also be in subcategories of elementary school. Tasks include instructional training. It is hoped that applicants who have extensive pedagogical skills in developing language teaching will be invited. All those who have been trained in a trainee school can be assigned tasks related to teacher training and development, participation in student selection, organization of continuing education and training exports.

 

The Appointing Person is required to be trained in the trainee schools (qualification according to the eligibility regulations of the teaching staff 986/1998 and, in addition, good teaching skills and two years of full-time teacher experience after graduation). The applicant is credited with the previous successful management of teaching assignments, the experience of teaching trainees, and the orientation towards pedagogical development and research.

 

The person to be elected must be proactive, professionally committed and willing to work. He / she must have strong co-operation skills in the operating environment of the training school, especially with other teachers and carers. In doing this, they provide good organizational skills and good interaction skills with the school community of all ages and its stakeholders. Those who are selected for the assignment are required to have good oral and written skills in the Finnish language. Other language skills are considered to be beneficial, as are the skills of teaching ICT in ICT and familiarity with electronic matriculation examinations.

 

The remuneration of the duties per tier of tasks depends on the level 5 to 6 of the tasks of the salary training system of the universities. In addition, a maximum of 50.0% of the remuneration per job is paid for the personal part of the salary based on performance.

 

A person selected to perform a job must present a criminal record extract referred to in Section 6, subsection 2. Criminal Register Act.
