Research Assistant II in the School of Humanities (Comparative Literature) (Ref.: 201801549) (to commence on November 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal)


Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in any Arts/Humanities discipline, preferably with a Master's degree in world film/literature, global issues and/or cultural studies. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English as well as computer skills. Command of written and spoken Chinese is a plus. The appointee will be heavily involved in research activities related to the activities of the Centre for the Study of Globalization and Cultures (CSGC). He/She will be responsible for organizing workshops and seminars; assisting in the preparation of manuscripts for publication; designing and maintaining webpages and social media presence; supporting online publication of information and other research activities; scheduling meetings and taking minutes; as well as performing departmental administrative duties and other tasks as assigned.
