DESCRIPTION The History of Art and Visual Culture Department [http://havc.ucsc.edu/] at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an ongoing pool of part-time Lecturers who may be appointed to teach historic or contemporary visual cultures in the following areas:
The members of the department are committed to the investigation of art and visual culture from a wide range of theoretical perspectives. We seek colleagues with a secure knowledge of visual materials and demonstrated interest in examining such materials and related issues within the contexts of culture and history.
Applicants who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching and other assigned duties as well as those with university teaching experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
