The UCLA Department of Musicology invites applications for part-time lecturer positions in Music History for Fall, Winter and Spring quarters of the 2018-19 academic year. Salaries commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with number of classes taught.

Applicants should have an established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a music educator with expertise and experience in the development of music history curriculum including its meaning and importance to contemporary culture as well as its impact. Responsibilities will include individual student teaching supervision and assigned undergraduate and graduate music history courses. A Doctorate in Musicology is required.

The application deadline for Fall is September 10, with an anticipated appointment date of October 1, 2018. 
The application deadline for Winter is November 15, with an anticipated appointment date of January 1, 2019.
The application deadline for Spring is February 15, with an anticipated appointment date of April 1, 2019.
