Hours: 35 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

Contract: 3.5 Months


This is an exciting opportunity within the School of Health Sciences for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced individual to join the team at Queen Margaret University’s School of Health Sciences. You will be expected to contribute primarily to our postgraduate multiprofessional Advancing Practice in Health Framework. In addition, where relevant, there will opportunities to contribute to programmes across the Division and School.


As an experienced Assistant Lecturer (E Learning) you will help re-imagine and develop educational materials and processes for a digital space with staff from across the Division in the further development of their programmes and the translation to a digital learning environment to meet the needs of learners from a range of disciplines. You will have an influential presence, be able to inspire and interact with a cross-section of staff in order to increase the adoption of technology-enhanced learning. A positive, personable and problem-solving approach is essential, as is the ability to show initiative and adaptability.


To apply for this challenging and exciting role you experience of using specialist software tools to develop digital learning materials and assessment information: e.g. Pebblepad, Turnitin, Blackboard Learn, Blackboard Collaborate. A teaching qualification and experience in e-learning in a professional setting such as a HEI would be an advantage.
