£40322 to £49553 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression Training (PCE-CfD) is an innovative development in counselling and psychotherapy. The qualification is recognised by the NHS and enhances career prospects for qualified therapists. PCE-CfD training enables therapists to understand the requirements of working within an NHS environment. It deepens understanding of the connection between research, theory and practice. The School of Education seeks to appoint two Assistant Professors to work on this programme. Duties will include curriculum refinement; course leadership; teaching; assessment and quality assurance.

Applicants should hold a postgraduate qualification in Counselling or equivalent. They should also have proven competence in person-centred facilitation.

These posts will be offered on a part time basis, 14.5 per week. Posts will be offered on a fixed term contract basis until 31 August 2022.
