£40927 to £50296 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above role based in the School of Education. The role supports the teaching of Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy within the School by providing teaching, curriculum development, leadership and quality assurance. In addition, the role will make additional contributions to other related teaching activities in the cluster, and other teaching-related developments in human flourishing by researching, writing and publishing in a relevant area.

Applicants must have completed, or  be close to completion of, a PhD or equivalent (eg MPhil, PhD or EdD, DClinPsy, DCounsP). They must also have proven competence in teaching in the area of Person-Centred Counselling/Psychotherapy.

This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 21.75 hours per week).
