Faculty: Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen (UCPH) Job DescriptionThe Saxo Institute, Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in classical archaeology. The position is a permanent, full-time appointment. The successful candidate will complement our collegial environment with a dynamic research profile in Greek or Roman archaeology, with experience in digital methods and their application in teaching and research. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse theoretical approaches and research methodologies. Current research at the Saxo Institute spans visual culture, landscape, technology and production, history of archaeology, and reception studies, including archaeological fieldwork and museum studies. The tenure-track assistant professor will contribute to the institute’s research activities, including seminar series and research clusters.
