Assistant Professor of ArtsSchool of Cinematic Arts Faculty Los Angeles, California The Division of Media Arts + Practice within the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California seeks applicants for an Adjunct Assistant Professor to teach one 400-level course titled IML 454: Advanced Platform: 3D Design. The course explores spatial perception and advanced techniques of 3-D representation for use in projection mapping, media installation, real-time environments, virtual spaces, design prototyping and fabrication. The course is hands-on and students will learn to use the appropriate modeling tools for these applications. The class also discusses concepts and theories of 3-D design, and the emerging aesthetics of these new forms of representation.
Minimum education: Master’s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum experience: 2-4 years’ experience with the following:

The core salary range for this position is $30 - $45 per hour. This is a 25%-time adjunct position.
