Requirements and Qualifications Candidates must: Have earned a PhD in Classics or a related area by the time of appointment. Demonstrate a record of excellence in research and teaching. Outline a rigorous and innovative research program at the highest international level, supported by a track record appropriate to their career stage. Present clear evidence of the capacity to teach both undergraduate and graduate students at all levels. Be prepared to teach undergraduate translation-based courses in Ancient Greek literature and Ancient Greek language courses. Have expertise in at least one additional ancient language. Explain in the cover letter how they would complement and strengthen the existing departmental expertise. Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
