Course Description: In this course students learn the core concepts and applications of group counseling techniques and approaches used in substance use disorder treatment and recovery programs. This course is part of the UCLA Extension Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling Certificate. Qualified applicants who have a Master of Arts or PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology and experience with substance use disorder counseling as well as college-level teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
