The Opportunity

Education-focused staff at Monash are an elite category of the academy who focus on and contribute to the innovation of education and leading the design and delivery of education at the University. The Lecturer (Education focused) is expected to make a solid contribution to the teaching effort within their department, school or faculty and will be on a trajectory towards leadership in educational design and delivery.

This position is specifically to assist the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Team in contributing to all aspects of Monash Business School’s capstone portfolio. Key responsibilities include design and delivery of innovative workshop and practical material, student placements, projects, degree capstone units and study tours. Unit coordination and marking/assessment will be required, as well as regular consultation with students. The candidate will engage in educational scholarship, and/or play a leadership role in educational innovation, curriculum design and review.

The candidate will have a doctoral qualification or equivalent research and teaching experience. A passion for developing new and exciting teaching approaches is essential. For full details of responsibilities and attributes please refer to the Position Description.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
