Pastoral support for education students, particularly focusing on diversifying the teaching workforce. Engagement with community links and contributions to UCC academic life. This role combines teaching, research, pastoral care, and administrative responsibilities within a dynamic and research-active School of Education. Essential Qualifications & Experience Doctorate (PhD) in History, Sociology, Psychology, or Philosophy of Education. Knowledge of the Irish education sector. Experience in providing pastoral support to students. Evidence of research expertise in the discipline of education. Ability to contribute to teaching, school placements, and postgraduate supervision. Additional desirable qualities: Experience in social justice-oriented education.
