Vanderbilt University’s Department of English seeks to hire three full-time lecturers on one year appointments.   Ph.D., preferably in rhetoric and composition or with experience teaching composition, is required and should be, awarded no later than August 15, 2022.  Teaching load is  3:3: 6 sections of beginning composition (ENGL 1100) during the 2022-23 academic year.  All courses will be taught in-person.  Those interested should send a cover letter and dossier (c.v., three letters of recommendation and teaching portfolio) through Interfolio by May 15.
