Generally, part-time lecturer positions are offered for one quarter at a time and at varying percentages of time, depending on the number and nature of courses assigned. This 4-unit course is scheduled for 3 hours twice a week and two sections will be offered. Course Description:EDUC 206. Design of Learning Environments for Teachers in Secondary School Subjects Applying research on conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and socio-cultural theories of learning to pedagogy and curricular design in secondary school subjects. An opportunity for MAT students to think deeply about the components of curricular design in in order to investigate multiple ways of interweaving the attributes of equitable and cognitively rich learning environments.
