Position description

The Department of Music at the University of California San Diego invites applications for a Lecturer in Piano Performance.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate piano students. This includes leading classes, assessment of student work,
meeting with students outside of class in office hours and/or appointments.

The appointments may vary from part time to full time. Positions are available starting Fall Quarter 2023.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Demonstrated track record of at least 6 months professional
activity as pianist or creative musician.

Preferred qualifications
  • Terminal degree in relevant field (PhD, DMA or MFA)
  • University teaching experience
