The UCLA Department of Musicology’s Music Industry Minor program invites applications for part-time lecturer positions for Fall, Winter and/or Spring quarters of the 2019-20 academic year. Salaries commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with number of classes taught.

Applicants should have significant experience teaching popular music and the music industry at the university level. Experience in the music industry itself is a plus. Responsibilities will include individual student teaching supervision and assigned undergraduate music industry courses. A Doctorate in Musicology or a related field is required.

Applications will be reviewed throughout the academic year. Anticipated appointment dates of October 1, 2019 for Fall quarter, January 1, 2020 for Winter quarter and April 1, 2020 for Spring quarter.
