The project will (1) delineate the pathological signature of liver ischemia reperfusion injury by transcriptome profiling of human liver transplant biopsies and (2) investigate the role of alloantigen specific T cell memory in potentiating liver ischemia reperfusion injury. The candidate will benefit from a highly collaborative and diverse team of investigators including experts in transplantation, immunology, biostatistics, and computational immunology at the University of California Los Angeles.
