About us Our team at the Department of Linguistics in Innsbruck is studying a range of languages both in the fields of General and Applied Linguistics and Indo-Germanic Studies. Our activities in teaching and research include the following main areas: Feminist Linguistics - Gender Linguistics, Digital and Corpus Linguistics, Lexicology and Language Comparison, Onomastics and Digital Applications (GIS), Rhetoric and Argumentation, Language, Ideology and Propaganda, Structural Semantics, Metaphor Theory and Healthcare Communication.
