Research assistant for support in survey design, data collection, cleaning and analysis80%-100%, Zurich, fixed-termThe Chair of Education Systems investigates the shifts in educational systems in the face of globalization, an ageing society and the rapid development of technology. We also examine the characteristics of the most effective education systems in the world and how they align with labour market demand. Our research focuses on comparing education systems and analyzing their institutional frameworks. Building on our experience in translational research, our research contributes to the evaluation and development of education systems in a number of countries on all six inhabited continents. Job descriptionYou will support the Chair of Education Systems with ongoing research and outreach projects. We support implementation and reform projects worldwide with dedicated data collection and analysis. Your principal role will involve online survey implementation and troubleshooting, monitoring data collection, data cleaning, and preliminary analyses. You will work closely with the project team to produce data for policy reports and presentations and more sophisticated statistical analysis for academic purposes. You will also be called on to support team members on technical and other matters on an ad hoc basis. Your profile
