Research Assistant in the Department of Chinese and History (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. C/R/193/09]



Immersive Learning for GE modules



Support the VR projects in developing AR/VR contents as well as facilitate learning activities and assessment tasks with AR/VR technologies.  Main duties include to:


Enable teaching and learning by providing support in the use of XR technology;

Facilitate learning activities and assessment tasks with flipped learning approach;

Produce courseware in the form of AR/VR, audio/video, animation, photograph and infographic;

Solve technical issues encountered by users and collect users’ feedback; and

Conduct research and analysis to evaluate project success.




A good honours degree, preferably with a Master’s degree, in Information Technology/Creative Media or related disciplines, with 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Proven experience in AR/VR and/or media production; knowledge of multimedia production software and hardware for AR/VR; excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are required.  Knowledge of and interest in architecture would be an advantage.
