to occupy with 65% of regular working time until 30.06.2023. The regular weekly working hours are at a full place czt. 39 hours 50 minutes. There is the possibility for a doctorate.

 

The Collaborative Research Center 1385 "Law and Literature" is a DFG-funded research association of the legal and literary sciences. The subproject "How and why do courts quote?" Under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Niels Petersen and PD Dr. Lars Korten judicial rulings of the Federal Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court of Canada both in terms of intertextual references to judicial decisions of other legal systems as well as references to non-system literature.

 

The areas of responsibility include:

  • the creation of a monograph on intertextuality in court judgments,
  • participation in the subproject as well as in the working groups and forums of the whole association,
  • the collaboration in the conception of an online encyclopedia.

A prerequisite for admission is a degree in literature or linguistics, preferably German and / or comparative literature with an above-average degree. Expected is a pronounced interest in literary theoretical as well as interdisciplinary issues (in particular the relationship between law and literature). The position is for "Early Career Researchers", the first degree of the candidate * may not be more than five years old.
