At the art history seminar and art collection of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, the position of a

 

research associate (w / m / divers)

 

with 100% of the regular weekly working hours (currently 39.8 hours / week ) for a period of 3 years (with the possibility to extend for another 3 years). The pay is based on the fee group 13 TV-L .

 

Your tasks

• Participation in the courses acc. § 31 NHG and in the performance

tests • Participation in the academic self-administration (eg academic study advice)

• Participation in the planning and implementation of exhibitions and scientific events

 

Your profile

• Highly qualified doctorate in art history or a visual science subject.

• Desired is a research focus in the area of early modern times; another focus may be modern / contemporary.

• Willingness to participate in the teaching of the Master's Program Curatorial Studies and Interest in Objective Teaching

• Relevant language skills in English and two other European languages (preferably French and Italian).

• Teaching and publication experience

 

The position should serve the qualification of young scientists and offers the opportunity for habilitation. An exposé of the habilitation project has to be submitted with the application. The position is part-time suitable.
