Position Description

 

DRAM 223 Introduction to Theatre Production

 

Current Offering:

 

Winter 2020 Block Week LEC 01 Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

 

Sessional hired at 1.0 HCE

 

Course Description:

An introduction to organizational principles of theatre production and technical theatre skills.

Course Hours: 3 units; H(3-0)

Antirequisite(s): Credit for Drama 223 and 222 will not be allowed.

 

Notes: Participation on the production crews of Drama productions outside of scheduled class time is required. This course is required for all Drama majors, but is open to all undergraduate students for registration.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

    Master's degree in Drama and/or equivalent professional experience in theatre

    Significant teaching experience and demonstrated ability to deliver entry-level theatre production curriculum at the post-secondary level
