Unestablished University Lecturer in Early Modern British Social and Economic History (fixed-term)

 

The Faculty of History is seeking to appoint a temporary University Lecturer in Early Modern British Social and Economic History, from 01 October 2019. Based in central Cambridge, this post is fixed-term for 2 years or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.

 

The successful candidate must hold, by the start of the appointment, a doctorate in a relevant field and be able to demonstrate outstanding research and abilities in teaching and at both graduate and undergraduate levels. She or he will be required to examine at all levels and to take their share of Faculty administration.

 

Furthermore, the successful applicant will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills; show a commitment to supporting students academically in the Faculty; and be able and ready to participate in collaborative research programmes and in the life of the Faculty and University more generally.
