The position is located in the Film Studies, funded by the DFG project "figurations of difference in cinematic motion pictures" at the Department of Film Studies at the Free University of Berlin.


- Research assistant in the DFG project "Figurations of Difference" at the Seminar for Film Studies, Subproject 3 "Anthropological Difference in Animal Documentary Film" 
- Participation in the Organization of Scientific Panels, Conferences and Workshops 
- Scientific Collaboration in Interdisciplinary Working Groups within the Project 
- Participation in the project coordination and administration 
- within the framework of the third-party funded project the possibility for the promotion is granted


University degree (Magister, Master) in Film Studies


- very good knowledge of nature documentary film in German speaking countries 
- familiarity with film 
studies in film analysis - very good knowledge of German and English 
- knowledge of historical and contemporary discourse in film theory 
- interest in discourse in the field of cultural animal studies and film 
- interest in a doctorate in Film Studies
